I’m inlove with all things coconut and currently obsessed with this smoothie. I had a slight creative brain block one morning, a morning I reeeally needed to be creative, so I researched ingredients, which I could whizz up and that I had at home which were excellent for a brain boost. Believe or not, but coconut is super good for the brain! And I am obsessed with coconut.
Health benefits: High in fibre and manganese, improves digestion, speeds up metabolism, gluten free! and the richest source in nature of medium-chain triglycerides (good for the heart & the brain) which are converted into a stable source of fuel for your brain during periods of low blood sugar, and can even help with memory loss (we all have those moments), boosts immune system & even good for a hangover (a healthier fat option to pizza)
- A cup of Coconut Rice milk or plain coconut milk
- 1 Frozen banana
- A small scoop of vanilla protein powder
- A handful of Organic toasted coconut
- Ice (4-5 blocks)
Mix together and top with some left over coconut. Coco Banana is beyond delish!
